TxDFPS receives reports of abuse and is charged with investigating the claims. But, what happens when TxDFPS receives multiple claims about the same person/family? Do the multiple reports contain consistent allegations? Or is the reporter changing the story to escalate the problem? At what point is the reporter fabricating facts for some other purpose?
